"odd" is a very fitting term I should say.
I've done a compare with the oldest available live backup and found a total of
_three_ articles missing, namely:
./lugnet/announce/brickset/3
./lugnet/announce/37
./lugnet/disney/125
These have now been restored as well. There are no other missing articles
between this oldest (May 26) live backup and the current system state.
That is to say, if something else should be found missing, it would have to be a
much older issue that went unnoticed over the years. It seems unlikely as all
missing articles reported since the repair I did the other day only got "lost"
during these 2 days.
In order to avoid ending up with gaps that are only found after current live
backups are rotated out, I did a snapshot of the article tree from right now
after the recovery. This will be kept as a basis for future recoveries, should
we find we need them.
Since except my fiddling with ad display codes, nothing really has changed in
the LUGNET code base over the last (at least) 10 years, if there was something
seriously wrong, we should have long noticed one way or another.
Thanks for keeping an eye on things and flagging any issues you find.
