Re: 6769 Fort Legoredo on sale at Shop At Home!!

(...) Sounds like you're the one who needs to relax. Read Mark's post... probably better than I could write in reply to you. Dude, chill out, the inflammatory nature of your messages telling people to relax is pretty durn hypocritical. -Tim (25 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: 6769 Fort Legoredo on sale at Shop At Home!!

(...) There are specific guidelines set up on the newsgroups to keep things orderly. If people posted anywhere they liked, things would get rather messy and confusing. When I was a newbie, I posted an auction announcement to .space, and people (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Why not?? I mean true, it is not for trade - but it is for SALE and you can BUY it - right? I think sometimes you people have lost sight of the forest, AND are missing the trees while you are at it. R-E-L-A-X !!!! (25 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

All in all, what does it really matter???? I mean, they made a SPECIAL effort to offer these sets to US FIRST - they could have easily ignored us alltogether, but no - They gave us first shot.   Re: Todd, can you explain the search function again?

(...) other rather than as separate "words," ya? My parser doesn't expect the < and the > to occur in the same word. I'll need to fix that before you can put them so close together.   Todd, can you explain the search function again?

Todd: I have read the search function described at: (URL) I can't see that the instructions there work. For example: when searching "brad justus <10 >10", without the quotes, what ideally should I get back as a result set? What I got was stuff from (...)   Re: 6769 Fort Legoredo on sale at Shop At Home!!

(...) It's not, no... But fortunately, there's a simple solution for future things of this type -- LD can (please) post to the .announce.lsahs group instead of the main .announce group.   Re: 6769 Fort Legoredo on sale at Shop At Home!!

(...) Good question. I don't think it is. I saw it, did a double take, got a little grated by it, but figured it was an honest mistake and given the tension lately with LD, I figured it best not to say something...for now. (...) --Todd (25 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Lugnet.lego.direct and its charter

After reading the .lego.direct charter, I was unclear if this message (URL) was appropriate for the group. Further digging led to (URL) where I concluded that message #1854 was not appropriate due to its use of a "tabloid-like" tone. I have no (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Block List?
