I'd agree with you wholeheartedly. I just think that this might be good for
improved communication. But yes, I think that people should be nicer to
each other in general. Whatever's going on here (Lugnet in general) isn't
healthy. Its been called 'growing pains' before and such, but for it to
have lasted this long isn't good. What could get people to calm down?

This wouldn't have to force them. They could enter Lugnet with the full
understanding that this is default (or the other way around?) and the full
knowledge that they can keep it private if so desired.

| (...) Help me out here- I've been seeing a lot of people talking about an "increased level of tension" on Lugnet lately, but I guess I don't see it. I know there were two very controversial threads in the past week/week-and-a-half... namely, the (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

I have found that since I have stopped going into off.topic.debate, I am a lot calmer, and seem to relax a lot more. : ) I think healthy discussion is fine, especially since the brick is a good chunk of life, but I try to (...)
