What kind of dues to you want to look at? It'll be very economical to join
officially, but it will also include voluntary donations mechanisms if you
want to pay amounts beyond the default. In other words, it will be tailored
so that you pay what you feel the system/service is worth to you. That might
be $x once in your whole life, or $x once + $y every so often, or whatever
you want to come up with. The minimum $x has to be calculated with growth
in mind and not be too large or too small.

I would think that this would on (or near) the top of your priority list from the perspective of making LUGNET (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jun-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)
