lugnet.com experienced an unscheduled service outage today which, according to the logs, lasted for approximately 68 minutes from 15:02 EST to 16:10 EST. It wants you to register your new address, just like it did the old one when you signed up via the web interface. ;-) Do that, fill in any appropriate details, and you should be fine. I'm not sure if this is against the spirit of LUGNET or not. My suggestion is to allow LUGNET administrators and group curators to relocate whole message threads to appropriate groups, in the case that the poster mistakenly posted to the wrong (...) Suggestion: Use the real life name when composing the 'From' field, for e-mail and NNTP news-readers. When a post is read from the web, the poster's real life name is always shown: (URL) when reading from a news reader like Outlook Express, the (...)
