I would think the support of Michael Gasperi and Brian Stormont would be important here, since this would be moving a certain amount of traffic down to a lower level rather than creating new traffic from scratch (where there is no loss but (...) (...) Nope, it's not. It's a very close analogy to what Jasper posted: "Yes, it is. Anything on an unsecured webserver is being published." Which you refute much more logically below. (...)   Re: YEAR-2000 LEAKS STOP HERE

(...) Todd, I think this is extremely reactionary. The way I read the law and the ToU, I think posting links to those pictures is both legal and reasonable.   SLRN and canceling messages

Hey Todd -- I figured out why I can't cancel messages from within slrn. For some reason, when generating a cancel message, SLRN doesn't attach the real name, just the e-mail address. That is, for a regular message, it does: From: mattdm@mattdm.org (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

Thanks for the extremely clear (and reasonable) policy on catalog scans. It is now clear that the retailer catalog is not to be shared (even old ones, I guess those need to come down) in any form.
