  Re: SSClagorpion

I re-introduce myself into the fold. Reading, catching up. Meanwhile, what can you all tell me? What can I do? What's going on? Kevin how are you on parts? Steve, are we ok on sensors and controllers? Have we made progress? What can I do? Reading (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: LEGO Rulers 4 Pirate Game

(...) Yes. I've found that having 2 basic sizes will serve you well - a relatively long range (say about 20 inches or so) per player or (less preferable) pair of players, made of 2x4s, with 4-5 layers of bricks/plates so that it's pretty sturdy. (...) I'm out of my league here - SNOT is very not me and neither are trains :), but I figured this was too good to pass up. I don't know if Mike can do it, but I just did it in 2 2/3 bricks and 4 studs wide, opening sideways :) Here's the pics to (...)   Re: Naming Technic Liftarms

(...) Yes, except that there is still nomeclature confusion elsewhere, some systems use Technic Bricks for the bricks with holes and some systems us Technic Beams, I believe. So I think the rounded designation is helpful. (...) except that the 1x2 (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

(...) I had read your solution but I have to admit it didn't make sense to me at the time as I don't generally use the technic part you listed. Seeing the pics makes perfect sense. Very slick solution. It also has the advantage of being 6 wide. I (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

I made my own flangeless wheels: (URL) made a small lathe with a Technic axle, bricks and a 9v motor. Using a razor blade I turned the flanges off. Took about 10 minutes per wheel. Robert (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: rtlToronto/train6 April 2004 photos - scenery

(...) Some great scenery in your layout. I notice that you guys build it quite thin, with technic beams for support. There aren't as many thicknesses of bricks as there are in the statue kits. So far I've built just one piece of scenery as an (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains)

  New MEGABLOKS bulk buckets

I think they're new, at least. I just saw them for the first time at Target, and they're already on clearance. The buckets are labeled 987 and 988 and include 250 basic bricks in each. Not sure what the difference is between the two numbers--both (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Got home, unloaded the truck, went thru stuff-- came across 1 1x1 red brick. Know I didn't bring it so must be someone elses. I also noticed that my blue loading dock building is missing the actual loading dock. It's formed by 6xN plates with (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
