Our modules are based on these specs--
http://peach.mie.utoronto.ca/events/lego/lego-module-index.html
which are completely based on these specs from Pacific Northwest LTC (thanks
guys!!)
http://www.pnltc.org/toolspec_data/modular_table.html
but Derek came up with the totally cool idea, based on the studs-sideways roads,
to do all the water studs sideways. I think that effect looked awesome!
But the base module is still 3 baseplates by 3 baseplates (or 2x2 extra-large
baseplates)
I think each of us build our layout to be in even smaller parts--I try to build
all my terrain and buildings so they can come apart at the seam of the
baseplate, so you can box up the various bits into boxes and not have to
transport fully laden modules to the site.
I am going to revamp my area to correspond with the studs sideways for the
water--I just have to order lots more green/blue bricks!
Take care,
Dave K
