Re: Looking for Sand Red bricks

(...) I think you may have missed a few listings. There are currently 147 lots of Sand Red items, 27 of which are Bricks. Of those 27, twelve lots contain at least 100 pieces. I did not factor price into the search. Keep in mind that Sand Red is not (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.brickshops)

Now I'll split hairs even further...are you saying that by stepping on elements, that you have modified them "by accident" or that you have induced modifications to your own feet. There was a really funny thread a few years (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

  Lego Bricks in the Classroom

Last summer, I ran a Lego Geometry workshop at UU church camp. It totally rocked. When participants left the first day, they were saying things like, "Now I finally know what ratios are good for." These are adults, mind you. It gave me such a charge (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jun-05, to lugnet.edu, FTX)

Re: guess the number of bricks in LEGO Yoda at Target

(...) Given the clarity of the illustration in the flyer, it will be quite easy to construct a fairly accurate "stud volume" estimate, that is, determine the total stud area of the bricks used to construct him by analysing each layer and making (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Building Philosophy: Bricks vs. Beams (was Re: Technic's Dead)

(...) I totally agree! I think I overdid it. I totally agree that beams and bricks have their uses, I just don't like how Lego is making the beam 'superioir' these days. The thing that ticks me off, though, is flex axles and 'styling panels.' I just (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Building Philosophy: Bricks vs. Beams (was Re: Technic's Dead)

(...) Yes, that's true. It's disappointing to get a set with little or no Technic bricks in it. I think one frustrating thing about the new pieces (and I'm thinking of studless beams as well as liftarms, or 1/2 width "beams") is that because there's (...)
