Ben, I've given you kudos for this model before, but I wanted to do it again in public :) Awesome model. You have a knack for sculpting with plain old bricks and creating forms of real beauty and elegance. My models tend to be very heavy on the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Help needed to identify parts

I recently received a large assortment of old LEGOs and need help in identifying the set to which they might belong. There are two white 4x6 plates with integral 2x4 wheel housings and an integral 1x2 plate protruding from one end. There is also a (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) If I see someone using these new bricks in a way that couldn't be done with the 1x1 plate clip, I'll change my opinion. So far, I've seen this piece in two sets (7121 and 5976, Adventurers River Expedition). In both cases, a 1x1 plate w/ clip (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Golden Gate Bridge cables

Well, I haven't been to LEGOLAND California yet, but the 1x1 cylinder bricks have a hole in the top of each brick (where the "LEGO" logo is supposed to be), and you could string them together.
