  Re: slrn broken?

(...) I'll take a look at it. I've played with other ways of moving the line back up whenever I have gotten the error, and one of them seemed to work without deleting a whole line of references, so I guess I'll have to wait and see if that fixes it.   Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) It came from this newsgroup. In a vain attempt to be the 1st to post to each group, I started it. (...) I am defining Posess as it actually being in my grubby little hands.   test

Well, I'm testing out some things on my new linux box at work. It looks like I can read news with tin -r on this machine, which is cool. Now I need to see if I can post. Already looks like the lines are too long, but I can fix that in the tinrc, I (...) (26 years ago, 3-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

What group did this come from... it's helpful when you move a thread to somehow show that. The referenced post appears first. Anyway to answer the question in the subject, I would submit that if we define posess == hold clear title to an instance of (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Web interface

Hrmmmm, a couple more things. One is a Lugnet suggestion, one may just be an HTML question. First, when I post a message all I get a choice of doing is returning to the group I was reading. While this is probably what I will want to do some of the (...) (26 years ago, 9-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Plan on abiding by the x-no-archive convention? Just curious - I can't imagine why someone wouldn't want their posts to show up in a lugnet archive, and, in fact, I regret having used the x-no-archive header for a long time in the past. (...)   A nit about trailing blanks/linefeeds

Here's a test post. There are trailing blanks after my last meaningful line. You should eat those, but I don't think you are, as the "webstamp" appears after them.
