I know some of what I'm going to say has been said before, but I say it again just to re-iterate. First: Only a small number of sets fit into the "so highly desired" that their price gets ridiculous.   Questions Regardsing Lego Scout
 
I just obtained a Scout unit without any of the parts included in the set from my local goodwill. Appearently they did not know what it was and marked it $5.00. Of course I grabbed it.
