  Target clearance...any other good sales?

Stopped in at a Target (Salem, NH) over lunch and saw that they had several LEGO sets on clearance. The clearance prices were somewhere around 30% off. Among the sets I saw were: SWEp1 MTT ~$35 SWC Slave-1 ~$12 RR Minifig Pack ~$4 SWC Mill. Falcon (...) (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Proposal: a TOWN building contest!

(...) Scale should not be a criteria with structures. Think about it...most people build town models to minifig scale already but what about the few who don't. Do we exclude them or create categories especially for these other scales, knowing that (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.town)

  Building Scales question...

Okay, so I know that the FAQ contains a small section on "What is microfig scale"...but I have another question: What is the difference between minifig scale and classic scale? Also....what about any other generally accepted scales? (Technic Scale (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq)

(...) I second that. I saw the Big minifig model on sale at legoland - almost missed it. The model was in a very plain, ugly box. There was no color, no pretty pictures - nothing. this shows me that it is a mail order item. (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.loc.uk)

  2001 set release

Just to give everyone a little warning... Life on mars, starwars [minifig] and starwars[technic] sets are due for release in Feb. Also, catalogues should appear in feb/march. (...) I disagree with you on this. I don't see the 3-packs as being replacements for the 5-packs. As far as I can tell, Lego is still going to produce the 5 packs. Me too. Micro fig is an excellent scale to work with, but to me, it's all about detail. Personally, I think it is much more difficult to make a large minifig scale capitol ship actually look decent and functional at the same time, because you get (...) (24 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.space)
