  Re: Legend theory

Great that we'll be getting some new legends soon, and that LD are actually consulting us about which one to release as well! Thanks guys! I just voted for the Black Falcon's Fortress. It was an easy choice for me (especilly since I recently (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Don, I have previously suggested a similar course of action for this set: (URL) this is one of my all time favorite sets, and at the top of my list for a Legends reissue, it frankly looks silly in blue. Yes, I would agree...the legends and re-issues are all super. They are the ONLY new sets (other than a few Star Wars and Harry Potter sets) that I have purchased since '97. LEGO, are you listening? I'm not convinced that we should have invaded Iraq in the first place, and I'm not sure what to think now: (URL) of me is starting to feel like we should just quarantine these states. (...) TLC could certainly make a new mold. But Legends sets come from a specific group within LEGO's organization. And that group does NOT currently have the clout to create new molds. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (22 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) I don't agree at all. Most of us would rather buy a rereleased legend (if it was the theme they liked) than any of the sets available on the shelves right now.
