Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

Hello! (...) OK. (...) This is where I disagree. I believe open letters are a valid form of communication with any companies and institutions. Also I don't share the fear of many Lugnetters that such a letter (given it's polite and rational) would (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Castle World.

(...) There is no better Lego series, where else can you get such an incredible case of megalomaniacalism so quickly? (...) Rules? I've only been a Castle Worlder for such a small amount of time, so what I know is limited, but I don't remember all (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: This is stupid... I can't tolerate this *juniorization*...

(...) I have to agree with you with this... I would like to see a return of town, but not a return of police, fire or emergency sets....I have 95 % of the police and fire sets (including 2 flame fighters, and about to have 2 6389's.)   Re: New Castle Visor? (Heads Up Castle-Heads!)

(...) That would be ultra cool if it came out with 6075/375 as a legend model. and let us hope that they ship the yellow "classic" castle that soon as a legend. I think Brad Justus mentioned that they are still undecided what to bring out next.... I (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Bionicle Shoes (Re: is this for real)

(...) 1) Don't you think that if actual bricks sold as well as Bionicle that Lego would do just that? 2) Bionicle is as compatable with all other themes and sets as traditional Technic is-you just have to figure out where it fits in for you. Townies (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.general)

USED sets for sale: 3451 Sopwith Camel, 10037 Breezeway Cafe: more to come

I'm culling my personal LEGO collection to make space at home, I really have more than I need. Right now I'm digging through the attic for boxes, pulling out instructions, and assembling sets to make sure they are complete. I have two sets ready to (...)   Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) I really have grown to like micro scale. It's great if you want to build a realistic cityscape with limited pieces. OK, so I've only built one small pair of micro models (not impressive, so don't ask about them), but they're still great. Early (...) (20 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Legend theory

(...) Well, speaking only for myself, I am just weighing in on which sets might be the best value. I would absolutely buy a 100% reproduction of the yellow castle -- but in case you missed it, the yellow castle Legend set as presented to us is one (...)   Re: 40th Anniversary of LEGO in Canada?

(...) Yes, and perhaps I wasn't entirely clear in my initial post. That's what I was trying to express though... that it was my belief that this was the 40th anniversary of that event. Perhaps the linkage to the product that was available was a bit (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  `Castle in 2002`

`Castle in 2002` The possibilities of the new castle range due out in 2002 seem quite promising. Castle now has loads of wall elements varying from the ninja line to the most recent Harry Potter ‘Droid Escape’ curved pieces. All these additional (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Announcing new Blegend!

(...) I don't believe that Lego marketing could convince people to buy rain coats while it was raining. If they could then the company would not be in the poor financial situation they are in today.   Re: What Happened to REAL Technic Sets?

I too miss some of the great Technic sets from Lego history (my first was 856). I agree with what you said though. There are a few sets I wanted that I have missed over the years, but really wanted (8459, 8856, 8862). I think there are a lot of (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic)

Top 5 for main street: 1 The town/city theme has been set aside these last years and needs to come back. 323 463 69% 2 I loved the Town/City in this period.
