  Re: Introducing JetRed

(FUT .trains only, no need to bother others with this bickering) (...) Fact is, like Steve Barile and Ben Beneke (in another thread last year I think) mentioned earlier, that as the crowd grows it's harder to get noticed. However if you then start (...) (21 years ago, 6-Oct-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New train MOC and Orange passenger car

(...) Hi Ludo, thanks for doing this posting about this orange train. Although you made me loosing a bet (luckiely for me the bet was just about being right or wrong). We were talking about your nice train creations yesterday at late afternoon in (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Blacktronicle

(...) Yup. I only ever got the Invader, the Battrax, and whichever Space minifig set included a B1 minifig (fortunately for me, it included two black visors, since I'd crushed the one from my Invader by stepping on it *sniff*), so I was a bit peeved (...)   Re: Combines and loads (was Re: New poster by Larry Pieniazek/MTW

(...) Mornin' Larry, [width of combine) (...) Ok, from the 1024x768 poster I was not too sure about it: I just saw the 6-wide cabin and the 2 studs mudgear on each side of it. Obviously these are wider than the body of the machinery. In this case I (...) (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Castle Fun

(...) Whoa, everybody calm down. Yaron was just commenting on what a couple of us said about wishing that Lego would stop the Legends and make new castle sets. Don't worry, the Legends line is not about to end. (as far as I know, anyway) :) Josh (21 years ago, 8-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New poster by Larry Pieniazek/MTW

(...) Hi Larry, I do not want to split hairs, but a - more or less - 10wide combine on a 6-wide car?! That would mean a 5 meters combine on a 3 meters train car. Are American combines that big?! Ok, the main body might measure only 8 wide and that (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: New German Diesel Locomotive

(...) You are surly right Niels, but a google search gave me several hits, where both engines V120/220 and 232 have been called Taigatrommel. Obviously lots of people haven't noticed the design change and used that name on all USSR diesels in (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: What Happened to REAL Technic Sets?

I too miss some of the great Technic sets from Lego history (my first was 856). I agree with what you said though. There are a few sets I wanted that I have missed over the years, but really wanted (8459, 8856, 8862). I think there are a lot of (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic)
