Re: Famous planes vs. Republic Gunship

(...) While I do not think the Republic Gunship is crap.... It is probably more expensive because it is a licensed product from Lucas Films. Lego probably pays 5-15%** or more for every thing they make.. Ken **Based on information for other (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.general)

No one can tell you whether you should or should not be offended, but had I gone to the trouble to write what you wrote and got no acknowledgment specifically from the person who requested the info, you bet I'd be offended.   Re: Model Team RIP.... why?

Yes, I totally agree. The Model Team range was my favorite theme, I got most of them. Every year it was exiting which new models will be brought out. Nowadays LEGO is crap. The models aren't interesting anymore and you can't use the pieces for other (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jun-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: Brickshelf problems?

Hi Kevin, first I want to thank you for providing the LEGO fan community a central place to exhibit their creations on unlimited free disk space. I don't want to miss it. (...) Ok, I had kinda given up on this thread after a week or so, but I have to say, I'm rather suprised at the response I *did* finally get! The entire time I had this Amiga I wanted to upgrade to a 2091 but could never get the money together to do it. I finally (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
