  Re: Interesting old packaging variants

(...) The #120 set was produced from 1966-72 in USA (and 1966-73 in Canada). You have encountered 2 of the box variations. There are more than just 2 however. Sets from 1949-73 have many many packing variations and box style changes. Basic set (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

How do I repiar old & dirty stickers?

Is it possible? I recently acquired a used set that unfortunately, did not have the stickers applied by an adult. Many are skewed and not applied completely flat. As a result, dust has gotten underneath to the sticky side and the stickers are coming (...) (25 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Its absolute magic! It smells a little bit. I suspect you could catch a good high from it if your into that sort of thing. If not, then I suggest some ventilation. Based on the smell, it contains amonia and paint thinner among other things. I'm sure (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Train Motor dilema

(...) This pricing system is a bit of a rip-off, if you think about the number of the same bricks that could be stuffed into those Lego cups. As BrickLink puts prices on some of these items to shame! :-) (18 years ago, 9-Oct-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)
