Re: Goodbye Lego and thanks for all the bricks

(...) Indeed. They did it before. Ever see the figures available during the mid 1970's? They had Town sets, but no mini-fig as we think of it. And during the 80's, it wasn't called System with a logo. The boxes just had the word LEGOLAND stamped on (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Has Lego begun producing "war toys"?

(...) I would say I'm torn as well. I like the idea of the "Agents" series, but would be against any kind of military-theme set. My main issue right now is the inclusion of weapons that actually fire in sets (Exo-Force and Star Wars mainly). To me (...) (17 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.general)

(...) I know that you are kidding, but it is for the sake of the poster that I am concerned! This is a crummy, rant thread, unworthy to have MOC posts of others buried in it!   LEGO Brand Store fully stocked (01/18/08)

I made it down to my local (Oregon) LEGO brand store the other day, and I was happy to see that they've finally got the place fully stocked again.
