| A Japanese acquaintance of mine... Yashihiro Kondo... has left me gasping... there's a whole other world of LEGO out there... this time sold in Japan from 1970-78! | I remember back in the old days (the 70's) my brother and I sorted all of our pieces (~3000), all from regular sets. The winner was 1x2 red bricks. Now my piece count is heavially biased by brick buckets so I'm sure the contents of those buckets (...) (26 years ago, 27-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

| Although I don't condone modifying Lego, I have to say I don't discourage it either. One example that I use, is removing faces off of Minifig heads. A few alcohol wipes do nicely. I get some nice 1x1 fat round bricks this way. I have already (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
