I'd agree that from a playable game, the new Football is better than the old,
but from a quality of set for display, I definitely would prefer the old.
One thing you can do to make the pitch stay together better is to use plates
on the underside to connect the FUBs (Field Unit Bricks - though I guess the
UK proper terminology would be somewhat better in it's own way, PUBs...). If
you look at the underside of the FUBs you will see places to connect them
using plates.
