Gold City Junction for sale or other ww items?

Hello again. I was wondering if anyone has a Gold City Junction that they are looking to get rid of or any of the pieces? Any other wild west items----cannons, saddles, wall elements, baseplates, soldiers, INDIANS? If you have any of these you would (...) (26 years ago, 16-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Set Review: MEGA BLOKS ProBuilder Master Series 9778 Steam Express

The review below is reprinted from the (URL) BLOKS Forum> (URL) This won't be a formal review, but just some impressions about this set from the perspective of a die-hard LEGO fan. I have never owned or built a MEGA BLOKS set before, so this was a (...) (15 years ago, 12-Dec-09, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

  Questions about sensors

Hi all, I'm having fun with my HB! For a software guy like me a 8 bit processor at 2 Mhz with 32K of RAM is a little small but it's so easy to add sensors to it it's just plain fun! But I'm an hardware newbie and I need more info on the sensors I (...) (26 years ago, 20-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I'm not sure about most of this..but there *is* a little tool that uses a modular line to make a printer connection...they use them at work....   Re: Why do I beat my head against the wall?

Well I am glad i am not alone in this but this is the way E-bay is setup, I found myself guilty of it also. It really seems that this is the only way to win a bid sometimes. And I see your point if you were willing to pay 405.00 you could spend 5.50 (...) (26 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.auction)

(...) Well, I really thought Larry was going to win this one. $280 is a large bid and the winning party had to bid over $405 to get this one. Even though I'm sure Larry would have wanted this lot at $411 (it sold for $410), when the amounts are this (...) (26 years ago, 27-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Why do I beat my head against the wall?

(...) All I can suggest is to realize that this is the way eBay works, and if you want to win a set, the best way is to snipe. It's snipe or be sniped when the item is highly sought after. I've found that it's often best to post a low bid early and (...) (26 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.auction)

I think we've got some Nycoil(sp?) around here (they use it in News Vans to route cables up the masts and stuff)....but it's red..about 1 inch thick and flexible... or you could use some PVC just to go through the wall or whatever....   Why do I beat my head against the wall?

Every time I participate in an eBay auction and get sniped, I vow not to do it ever again. But sooner or later, some really choice lot comes along, and I backslide, only to get sniped again.
