| I didn't actually try it from command line but this may be expected as explained below. Fast firmware download changes NQC to use a 4800 baud messaging protocol without complement bytes. I am trying to get the legOS firmware downloaded to my RCX using the firmdl3 command, but I get erratic and varying responses from "bad ir link" to "firmdl3: delete firmware failed". | using the trouble shooter supplied with the lego mindstorm kit, i determined that i didn't have firmware, and that was preventing me from getting action with rcx command center. once i downloaded the firmware, it worked like a charm. thanks for all (...)
