Its not private. The sdk 2.0 beta is availible to the public, but they got rid of the easy link. THe other way to get to it is to go to the mindstorms website, click tips and tricks. In the left hand frame, towards the bottom, there is something (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I dont know about the vision command, but the sdk avalible on mindstorms website (2.0 beta) does not update the application. They also are not offering a special upgrade kit (to my knowledge). The sdk does include a free programing interface, but (...) (24 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I ran into this problem 2 weeks ago when trying to deploy a new software image to 2 of my labs at work. The installs in the two build images both worked the first time and then started giving the error mentioned below. So far as I have been able to (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: automatic mindstorm crane

Very nice crane, I really like the way the cargo is moved from train to train. This is a great combionation of two of my favorite Lego themes...trains and Mindstorms. Do you happen to have building instructions for this creation? Brian (16 years ago, 12-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Advanced programming with Vision Command

Dear robotics friends, Oh god, it was a hard job to get the Vision Command from USA to Czechia but eventually I have got it. Now I try to explore its real capabilities.   Re: question on mindstorm capabilities for competition

George, I think the NXT would be an excellent way to get your son involved in robotics. And, it should do just fine in that competition. That's pretty much what it was designed for. Don't worry about a lack of experience with Mindstorms. I'm sure (...) (16 years ago, 30-Jun-08, to lugnet.robotics)

problems with creating arrays of larger sizes

Hello, at the moment I try to get experience with the memory of the RCX. I've read somewhere that the brickOS firmware is about 8kB big. I loaded a program with a size of 2 kb down to the RCX. With the help of the program I created an array of the (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Hi Albert, (...) since you always get the error at the same point, maybe your version of NQC is too old? The firmware has increased in size, and some old versions can't handle that. Jürgen (20 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
