  Re: Weird RCX electrical ideas

(...) I got a private email that said this: Jordan, this idea is a good one. and has proved to work in the past. if you have 2 rcx's, then try it. heck you can even experiment with just one RCX for proof of concept. run a wire from the motor out to (...)   What are good LEGO robotics challenges?

I'd like to know all the different LEGO robotics challenges you've seen or heard about. If anyone knows of a comprehensive list that already exists, please give me a link to it. Otherwise, I'm going to make my own list, which I would have on a (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Re: Cool Lego site of the last 14 weeks...

Maybe it hasn't changed because only 27 people voted. I was going to post something about this myself, but someone else did. Thanks. This situation needs to be fixed. (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) Thanks for the reply. Would you please explain the balance beam tug-of-war in more detail? I just can't picture it. Also, "sentience" is pretty vague. Could you expand on that, too? Thanks a lot! (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

(...) would of course have a lot more pictures to demonstrate the challenge. But I would like this list to be something people could consult when they need ideas for challenges.   Weird RCX electrical ideas

I'd like to share two thoughts with you all. They involve the RCX and doing things with it that I'm sure the designers never intended (or thought possible). Oh, if you're reading this in the .trains newsgroup, you can skip over the first thought (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Thanks for the links. I would really like to use such a sensor, but I'm a LEGO purist. Maybe that's irrational, but it pains me to see things like servo motors and ugly exposed circuit boards attached to LEGO. Even if a device is hidden inside (...)   Automatic tracking of our newsgroup posts?

I would really really really really really (really!) like to see all the posts I've made in the various LUGNET newsgroups on one page. I hate having to find them myself, and I often forget that I've even posted or responded to threads, so I miss (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Re: What are good LEGO robotics challenges?

I have completed Version 0.1 of my list, which means it's just a list of categories. There are no links to any specific projects or details, no graphics, and no special CSS (the stylesheet is the same one I use on my personal site). I just wanted to (...)   Re: Moonbase Roads

(...) In real life, when undeveloped land is rezoned, the roads are planned first, and then the land is divided into lots. Then the land is sold and stuff is built. In real life, when buildings already exist in a location, the road is either moved, (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: source of <-O-> background

(...) I can make you one if you want. My scanner's broken, though, so I'll need someone to give me a scan of that logo up close. It's easier to trace the logo from a scan than to draw it freehand. (21 years ago, 4-Sep-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Stacking Moonbases
