| Pat, since no one else had stepped forward, here is the info you need to get any answer about your 700/0 set. It is of European origin. All US LEGO sets, which by the way started selling here in 1961, are made by Samsonite (1961-72) and are in the (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

| Joe, Great job on Cathedral II!!! I really like it. I can't wait until Cathedral III. You did something that I try to avoid, namely the Chevet (curved east end of French cathedrals). | Dear LEGO, You've gotten some good new 1999 service packs. First of all the black sloped bricks are great (even though 2 important black sloped pieces are missing from this set). | You're right. When you try stacking those macaroni bricks, they become very unstable. I usually use only 3 or 4 on top of each other, and then a curved plate on top of that (sort of an overhang). The only stability with these is if you make a light (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
