  Re: Slope 45 2 x 2 Double Convex / Double Concave

(...) A (nearly) complete roof system is available in blue, yellow and white, and possibly gray. They can be purchased on Bricklink. Some parts, such as the yellow 1x2 double/inverted (what I used to call the "gable connector") are only rarely (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?

SNIP (...) Hi Jeff, A grim scenario :-) I had a lego dream too, a few weeks ago. It was very strange. There's this loco I'd been working on, and I've taken a printout of a real world picture of it for the build. Anyway, in the dream, I realised that (...)   Re: I love lego

(...) It's not exactly a ringing endorsement of TLC's approach is it? Taking a very broad view of the "market" - ie kids - the market's changing. Kids seem to be abandoning traditional toys and picking up video games earlier. Taking a more narrow (...) (20 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  question about inputs & outputs

ok this is a funky idea, but I've already got some evidence it can work. I *really* need 4 outputs, but I only need 2 inputs for my project. Is there some way, using brickOS (I assume it's impossible without modifying firmware), to reprogram an (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LEGO sells "violent" toys?

  Re: Spammer Using LUGNET?

It is very very unlikely (although not impossible, I suppose, but it would have to be something that works on Linux) (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Anyone want a spaceship design?

So, I'm sitting here drawing (as I often do) and I for some reason started drawing a space ship. Now I realize it would be nearly impossible to build, or at least I can't build it. That or Chris would make me resign from rtlToronto.... Anyone want a (...) (20 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Samsonite LEGO in 1960s SEARS catalogs

(...) Yes, I've looked through your folder several times. Not every item every time, but on each visit I take a look at a few more of the old sets. Growing up in Canada, most of my childhood LEGO sets are marked 'Samsonite'. Luckily for me, my (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Is lego *truly* unlimited? (some thoughts)

I was just wondering today about how much lego is trumpeted as having an 'unlimited' number of possibilites. Now I'm no math whiz, but it seemed logically impossible to me. So here's some food for thought for the gurus out there to digest and make (...) (20 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Yet I find it impossible to give any more money to a company has little regard for its cutomers other than making a profit from them and (...)
