(...) Just (...) All together now: "Minifig scale!" Seriously, they're not to any particular scale. Neither are minifigs. You could carry out analyses that pointed to any scale from about S (1:64) on up to G (1:22.5, the LGB Narrow Gauge, not the (...)   Re: 2000 Sets at local Targets

(...) I found the Desert Skiff and Slave 1 at the Target near 183 and 620. They also had 1 Gungan Patrol, 1 more Slave 1 (which disappeared while I was shopping), lots of Desert Skiffs and Flash Speeders, and a few A-Wings. No B-Wings though, :-( (...)   Re: S@H Canada Goodbye

(...) There's no duty on toys coming into Canada. The shipping should also still be free, if the new 2000 lego Direct brochure (see Brickshelf scans) is correct - it says nothing about extra shipping to Canada. Canadian S@H prices were always a (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Longest train?

(...) What about the real ones with mid train helpers? CP Coal trains in the rockies used to (don't know if they do any more) get 12 3000 HP engines, 4 front, 4 mid, 4 end. They even had a big pileup from a little mistake that they made (and you (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

Hmmm...as an expatriate Michigander (or has it changed to Michiganian now, as Gary suggests?), I could go for Michigan as well--and Kalamazoo would suit me fine, too. Seems to me that the bigger outlet malls are near Detroit, though--I wasn't aware (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Enough already

(...) Well, nothing is "free". I prefer to think of the shipping as "built-in" which is what it is, really. I guarantee you it costs them FAR less to ship out 20 copies of a service pack in one box to one address than it costs them to ship 20 copies (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)
