The compiler I have decided to use (Watcom C/C++ v.11 from Powersoft) will compile from the platform I am developing on (NT 4) to the desired executing platform (DOS) and will use long file names just fine. FWIW The LEGO shop, Bluewater, UK on Saturday had the following: RIS 1.0 RIS 1.5 DDK RDS The RDS box said it would allow connection to a PC with a future expansion kit, as we already know.
