I am brand new to the NXT world but I would like to purchase the rechargeable battery. My question: Is the A/C adapter unique to the battery or can a train a/c adapter be used instead? I would like to have a train layout, with permanent structures, supplemental vehicles, and so forth, but I really do not have the room for it. As someone who used Brickshelf almost every day for the last 6 years, I would also like say thank you.
