In the accuracy department, I'd have to say it's my most favorite, but it leaves a lot to be desired in the way of speed - the worm gears slow it down a lot. In the course of (...) Actually, lowering the voltage would lower the current draw too with a constant load. Of course a motor is anything but a linear load, and it does tend to draw more current at slower rpm.
