Re: MOC: Working solar powered rover and geiger counter

(...) Here for the gallery: (URL) firmware should be run with RCX 1.0 AC adapter plugged and weak batteries inside. The firmware immediately runs after download.   Re: How would we (the rest of us) communicate ideas to the MDP?

(...) Mike, You must already know over the last year, all of us have brought ideas from LUGNET, and other sources into our MUP discussions. LEGO is smart enough to know they don't have all the answers, so they invited us inside. We (MUPs) are smart (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT e MUP

Ciao Giuliano, (...) Lo scrivo sotto a memoria... (...) "ovviamente" uno, ma in assenza di limiti imposti da regolamento, si puo' fare anche un robot con 3 sensori. Il programma e' di gran lunga piu' complesso, ma il robot puo' andare a velocita' (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: How would we (the rest of us) communicate ideas to the MDP?

(...) Hey you don't know if they emailed everyone so you might still make it? I know that's probably wishful thinking on my part but Steve mentioned they didn't email everyone yet (just some). I know right now, I feel kind of bummed and I'm sort of (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT e MUP

(20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Corner Gas episode called 'Block Party' - AFOLs involved?

(...) The animation segment was short but really well done. They matched some minifigs pretty well with some of the characters. (...) I can't say for sure, but given that it was a first-run episode from season three, I'd guess that it was filmed (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

Re: MOC: Working solar powered rover and geiger counter

(...) Well I'm certainly impressed that you were able to get a (not insignificant) saving through software alone. (I use NQC and the lego firmware, so I doubt I could implement this - I think I'll wait for NXT before learning a new system :-). OTOH, (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: How would we (the rest of us) communicate ideas to the MDP?

(...) I don't think even the people on the MDP will have much input along the lines of what you're thinking - with only a few months before release, I imagine the role of the MDP people will be that of beta-testers - bang on it and report software (...)   Re: NXT e MUP

(20 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Hogwarts Express train - collaboration with James Mathis

  Re: Replacement Wire

(...) Tom- You can use almost any convenient type of wire wire to run your 9-volt trains. Stranded 16 or 18 gauge might be optimum and can often be had particularly in the form of paired speaker wire or lamp cord. At SCLTC, we use the 4-conductor (...)   How would we (the rest of us) communicate ideas to the MDP?

I'm going on the assumption that I am not going to be part of the Mindstorms Developers Panel. That's OK with me, as I know that there are definitely 100 people in the World who are MUCH more qualified and/or can spend much more time on it than I (...)
