  Re: Wanna' Solotrek?

(...) I'm not so sure. Is it really a good idea for the skies to be full of the same people that are driving cars today? Same goes for the Skycar. Allister (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Wanna' Solotrek?

(...) Looks like their fund-raising failed. On TechTV I'm watching a bit about how bogus bidders on ebay ran up the auction and killed it. They closed the auction because of the bids and solotrek was trying to use it to keep the business open. Looks (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix

(...) Sounds pretty interesting, but once again, I'll probsbly have to fight the inherent urge to buy this book, although I'm very tempted to get it anyway. (...) So around 1000 pages, eh? A thick fix of reading, If I must say. (assuming it's (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  My first instructions online

I posted my first set of instructions to get the feel of all this great software you gurus are coming up with. It is an end of line bumper for the end of a train track.   Re: Rifles!

(...) Absolutely! My grande armie is only about a third regular infantry (ie LEGO soldier torsos, shakos & muskets), which is NOT the way it should be. (...) I'd add epaulettes to that list - they're good for distinguishing units in lieu of (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: MM Two Shops

Hum...what to order. Can I get a roasted frog on a sesame seed bun, hold the mayo? Or maybe I should get a radioactive, neon spider salad. So many choices, so little time! :) I like the generic shop idea. That is often how I build shops. I build (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

Hello everyone, I was in at the Lancaster Zany Brainy tonight and didn't see any LEGO on sale despite huge 30 - 50 % off storewide clearance sale signs. None of those signs were in the LEGO section. I'd like to join you wherever you end up the week (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

Re: Finally my Target hits 75% off

You know there was a time, not too long ago when I could reasonably expect to buy about $3-5,000 in clearance Lego from Target without much effort. It's impossible to do that these days, I'm guessing because of increased awareness of the clearance. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: visit (and STUDFest Reminder!)

(...) What a pity you're arriving a day after the Sydney Lego meeting. Ah well, I'm sure we can spin a mini-fest sometime whilst you're around. (...) Yeah... between the Foot Guards and the Fusillers I've sucked up all of my muskets! I thought I had more, but chances are they're in a case in a box left stored after we last moved house. (...) Hmm... we'll have to call them out sooner than (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.pirates)
