Re: SW EpI sets @ LLW

In article <MPG.11a3d304470fd33...gnet.com>, richard.dee@virgin.net says... (...) Love to, but Saturday is the only day my wife and I will get together for two weeks - if I suggest a day out in LLW I think she'll throttle me. (You can only push a (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: All UK Groups subscribed?

(...) How does this look to those who subscribe via E-mail? With all of the posts that Richard did, I would consider this as SPAM especially as I watch it fill up my inbox. (...) I think that is best left to Todd, since he is head honcho around (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: All UK Groups subscribed?

(...) OK, this post obviously wasn't heeded. >-( I was patient enough to see that Richard did apologize for doing this though. His neck is in Todd's hands now, so I'll let Todd deal with him. However, is there any way to clean up the traffic page in (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: please help id set(s)

(...) So what's the set?!? Have you scanned the catalog cover or otherwise put on the web any info on this set other than what is in pause? Are there any good resources for older Lego? Yours with lots of questions... :) Nikky (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Cone primitives

(...) without (...) too, (...) The 3 refers to the inner radius of the cone. All cone primitives (like ring primitives) are made with an outer radius which is 1 LDU greater than the inner radius. So a con3.dat would have inner-radius 3 and outer (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Piece sorting (was: building exhaustion)

I combine building with sorting. Most of my pieces are sorted following the colour and type rule, each separate. But with bricks and plates, I "build" them, and then store them. By building, I stack the pieces together, and they fit quite well into (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.storage)

On Tue, 11 May 1999 20:25:17 GMT, Chris Ernest Hall uttered the following profundities... (...) Don't really fancy fast food for meals generally. Occasionally is ok, but prefer proper food. It would be fun to try and pass a set off as a meal, (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

On Wed, 12 May 1999 06:16:55 GMT, Lorbaat uttered the following profundities... (...) The notion of a fast food meal doesn't appeal too much anyway! Still, it would be fun *trying* to pass off a Lego set as a meal! (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Running LDraw via a DOS emulator?

Has anybody successfully run LDraw/LEdit on an intel-based Linux/FreeBSD box using an emulator such as DOSEMU or Wine? That would be really useful for me, as I wouldn't have to boot my Linux system to DOS only to edit some LDraw files. Fredrik (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.cad)

Hello, again: (...) Considering that the alternative was being captured by angry British tars, I don't think they complained too much--and it surely helped that most of the captains of the Constitution were wildly popular with their crews.
