Running LDraw via a DOS emulator?

Has anybody successfully run LDraw/LEdit on an intel-based Linux/FreeBSD
box using an emulator such as DOSEMU or Wine? That would be really
useful for me, as I wouldn't have to boot my Linux system to DOS only to
edit some LDraw files.
