post-mod of course!

I can’t wait to see her...

But while the folder awaits moderation....

oh, and how does one insert pictures into their post? i am tired of the old post-a-link method and would like to jazz up my posts a little, and not have to depend on all the pics to clear mod on bricklink. thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

First, you need to change the format of your post from from ‘plain text’ to Formatted Text (FTX). You can then insert pictures using double angled brackets (a pair of less than signs, then the image URL, then a pair of greater than signs).

And to get the image URL, keep clicking on the image in brickshelf until you have a URL that ends with ‘.jpg’. That’s the deep link.

There’s a handy quick reference guide to FTX on the right of the posting window too.

oh, on an off note, Richie, i remember reading that you had a brit ship in the works, just curious how thats coming along! always look forward to seeing another brit set sail :-).

Ah... you speak of the prophecy of the ship that is to come. The one that will bring balance to the Port.

Due to the impending geographical relocation of Port Brique (ie I’m moving house), I have had less time and space for shipbuilding :-(. In fact, most of my LEGO is in storage. I have only four ships at home (my wife would roll her eyes at that ‘only’!). The Madame Thenardier is presently the serving French flagship, and HMLBrig Demand the British!

However, one of those four ships is, in skeletal form, the 6th Rate HMLS Frivolous. At the moment, she consists of fore, aft and four centre hull sections, three masts (naturellement!) and a few props holding the masts in place. I have visited the chandlers, and have most of what’s needed on hand... so it’s just a matter of space and time...

Anyway, back to waiting for the Scimitar to be moderated!

Adieu
