Ah yes, the old Black-and-white-image-as-placeholder trick. And the
proofreader fell for it. In some graphic shops it is common practice to drop
low-res B/W images into a layout to test designs, then update the final
(approved) copy with the high-res color images. Looks like the proofer blew
this one.
I've noticed mistakes in past catalogs, especially in the Ninja sets with any
"flying Ninja." It seems that whoever processed the image left in the column
of clear 1x2 bricks holding up the "flying" fig instead of erasing it.
Ooops...

Speaking of mistakes, almost every page of the latest S@H catalogue has pictures of sets where they forgot to cut the original photograph background out of windows and other spaces when compositing (...)
