Ah yes, the old Black-and-white-image-as-placeholder trick. And the
proofreader fell for it. In some graphic shops it is common practice to • drop
low-res B/W images into a layout to test designs, then update the final
(approved) copy with the high-res color images. Looks like the proofer • blew
this one.

I've noticed mistakes in past catalogs, especially in the Ninja sets with • any
"flying Ninja." It seems that whoever processed the image left in the • column
of clear 1x2 bricks holding up the "flying" fig instead of erasing it.
Ooops...


Speaking of mistakes, almost every page of the latest S@H catalogue has
pictures of sets where they forgot to cut the original photograph background
out of windows and other spaces when compositing the picture with the
catalog.
