Maybe you can't get horses as conveniently, but TLG still makes them. If
you're a club member, you can buy Samauri Swordsman for $2.00 US
from S@H. Cheap black horse and blue saddle, plus a mini-fig and armour. Good
buy if you like horses. If it is white horses you need, the overpriced
King Leo has one with a plain blue saddle. Why not the special
blanket saddle? Other KK white horses have them????? Stupid cheap move makes
me boycott this set.
Brown horses are unfortunately an extinct breed. The last one appeared in
Night Lord's Castle. Indian spotted horses are also discontinued,
but you may still see the occasional set in stores that has one.
Your idea for a grey/spotted/rust pack would be so cool! How about a tan horse
too? I would definatley buy a set of new-coloured horses, especially if there
was an exclusive horse. I'd also like to see the baby horse from
Carriage Ride released in white and black.
Horses & Saddles is a 1997 set, and nothing lasts forever. I don't
find it that unlikely that an improved replacement set will be released soon.
