  Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) Tim like Larry said i had to finish it at the show(it didn't make the trip to well) I actually had to cut down on my design to make it fit at the show.I originally had a 20 gate terminal but cut it to 10 gates. For the next show i am rebuilding (...)   Re: Old news 8-wide? Big 8-wide Windscreen

Hi John, (...) States (...) Hey, that would be nice! How fare are your plans grown by now? Things like that will need loooong time planning in advance. The states isn't a place to just fly over for a weekend. I personally would be very interested to (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Chris built it (he completed it AT the show). It's a great example of how not limiting size too much can end up with jaw dropping models. It's also a great example of how not structuring your displays can end up with one model dominating an (...) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Now that is what I call an airport! I am so jealous. I can only dream of owning enough LEGO to build such an awesome MOC. I think I'll go cry now. Seriously though, my hat is off to whoever built that. That is just awesome. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) I'm sorry to butt in on this thread, but a person can have a solid building and still have it nicely detailed on the inside.   Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) Let me start by saying that I apologize if it seemed as though I was attacking GMLTC or any other group. That was the furthest from my mind.   Re: Pic: New Green Building

Actually, that's not what I was saying. In this particular instance, one can see into the building. And the ones next to it that are full of activity. If you can't see in, I'd agree that there is no reason to do the detailing unless one wants. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) Uh oh! Guess I'm boring as well. I only furnish the first floor of those buildings that you can see into. I never even make floors for the other "floors." Why bother if you can't see in anyway? Two points... 1) a minor point of information: (...) Can you elaborate on what playtheme vs. miniland is?   Re: Pic: New Green Building
