Oh, man!  Thanks!  I hadn't realized this.  Now I have a question for
everyone. Sorry if I've missed this in another message thread...

What is the black piece beneath the buffer on the front of the 4512 freight
locomotive?  Is that a new element attached to the front of the 9v train
motor?  Or, is that a new buffer/magnet/scoop all-one-piece element?  The
buffers either side of the magnet look, to me, a little more "squarish".
But, maybe that is just a "trick" of glare or something in the picture?

Wow, I think your right! And I think their at both ends of the loco? The buffers do look square, look at the same image, way down at the bottom... the image of the roof popping off the loco, I think it has square buffers! It looks to be a new train (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)
