Q: 4512 and 4511 (was: Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO Train Products!)

Something that I just noticed is that the 4512 locomotive truly looks like
it resembles set 4564's engine.  Is this the same engine only different
colors and a different removable top?  And, 4511 has some strange lights on
the front of the engine.  The yellow lights appear to be much larger than
any train piece I've ever seen before.  Oh yea, and whatever happen to the
Yellow Lego engineer produced in set 4564 and others?

(...) Oh, man! Thanks! I hadn't realized this. Now I have a question for everyone. Sorry if I've missed this in another message thread... What is the black piece beneath the buffer on the front of the 4512 freight locomotive? Is that a new element (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)
