It was good to hear of the new trains for 2003.
Looking in the rest of the Marz catalogue there is no mention of track,
points or speed regulator.
Are they expecting shops to only stock these 4 sets and you have to go to
S@H for the add-ons?
It is strange that parts of the Passenger & Cargo train sets are just off
the picture.
Also when a pair of trains sets has been released one normally has a speed
regulator.
I did wonder if a circle of track and speed regulator would be sold as an
add-on - but this would be too complex for the mormal purchaser.
Most people (excluding AFOL's) only buy one train set.
I can't believe that Lego will produce a larger radius track, and if so to
include it with a starter set as that would increase the cost and the floor
space required.
I see you will have to buy 2 passenger trains to make proper train, only the
Metro-liner included both ends.
Again the Central station comes with only half a platform.
I'm amazed at the cargo crane being so similar to 4547 - a lack of mmagination.

| I have the impression that the images that we are all discussing here are just very early mock-ups. The availability dates shown are half a year away. Or in other words, at this time, everything is just pure speculation. If the sets really come out (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

| Many of you may have seen this from other posts, but for those who haven't- NEW TRAINS FOR 2003! Passenger Train (bullet style) (URL) Train (URL) Station (URL) Crane (URL) other 2003 sets can also be seen, including some of the new town lineup! Roy (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains) !!
