*LEGO* train related sites, or just train sites?  If just trains, you can find
most anything if you start here:

HTH,
John

The NMRA is a good site except, the only problem with the NMRA website is that
Large Scale links are very very lacking.  There are some there but only a tiny
fraction of all the large scale websites that are available on the internet.
But then again, there is a big war between Diehard Large Scalers and the NMRA,
and that's pretty off-topic for this forum......

Well if I want proto photos or a close approximation thereof, I sort of
don't care what scale they are as long as they are *to scale* or close. (1)
I can build from an HO pic just as easily as from a proto pic.... (2)

1 - while what I render won't be "to scale" I want to choose the distortion
myself working from a close representation rather than from an already
distorted one.

2 - relatedly, J2 had an HO shell that he was working from in trying to
create an 8 wide loco, it did help him get views from any angle, which you
can't do with a pic... but spending 15 bucks for a shell is a bit much for a
model unless you REALLY want it! However didn't SS buy a model of his 88 MM
?? the BS site has some pics of models he posted in that folder anyway

(...) Hi Larry et. al., There are some pics of a model on my page, but they were all downloaded from the 'net. The only vehicle I've done that I *did* have a model to go from was the Sd.Kfz 222 armored car, which coincidentally might be the one I (...) (23 years ago, 25-May-01, to lugnet.trains)
