I have used 4 yellow/black rotating bit at the 4 corners to attach the sides to the bottom, and it can fold flat, also 4 purple bits in the middle to join the sides to the base. I personally have never done it with a 12v conductor, however I did cut and paste (if you will) 9v track, If lego is important to you as it is to me go out and get yourself a nice little dremel tool, with metal cutting wheel. When you begin to cut (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

How about using the new slopes 4x2 (from Star Wars sets) set in a stud foward orintaion. This creates an 8 stud wide dual slope. The same way the back of the Road N' Rail Repair, (URL) but wider! ;) SteveB (24 years ago, 25-May-00, to lugnet.trains)
