Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) I frequently borrow my sister's labeler (like (URL) to label anything going to shows. The smallest font can, with some scissor work, make labels that fit inside track. Address labels are a more simple but equally effective solution. Benefits, (...) (17 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) Every one in WAMALTC marks their track pieces on the bottom with a marker, paint, other permanent means, using a unique pattern of coloring in the circles or outside the circles. Our patterns have become so distinct that other members are able (...) (17 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) I use a tippex pen and put white dots in the two stud holes at one end of each piece of track. I've also seen people use single coloured round plates on top of the track when its not visible. (17 years ago, 30-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) I constantly get lots of free address labels in the mail. These are great for marking things, especially base plates, but I have used them on track and larger details (vehicles etc.) that might be confused. Frank (17 years ago, 30-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) One way is to use a little dot of paint or nail polish. Everybody use a different color, and it's not a problem. Or two different colors for more people. I have used this for marking climbing gear, and it's quick, easy and durable. Tim (17 years ago, 30-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) In the front of a display, all of us in GWLTC just build our own scenery on our own bases, and lay our own track up to the edge of the section.   Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

What are the best way to mark the various items (baseplate, 9v tracks, etc) when you do a display with many contributors ? I found this post : (URL) you have other ideas ? What are the best pen, stickers or "stuff" we can use to mark ? (17 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Who has made LDD truck/bogie designs?

(...) That is a very cool and simple way to deal with the problem of long trucks. I'll file that one away just in case I ever need it. What I was really looking for, however, are different stylistic designs for dressing up trucks using pieces (...) (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Weber County Scout Jamborall

To all, ULUG participated in a weekend Scout Jamborall in Weber County.   Module idea for new layout section

Hello! I have decided to add a 16'(or possibly 18') x 2' section to my current layout. It will be along one of the walls in my layout room.   LaCrosse Train Show Wrap-up (Late!)

Wow- It's been 2 months since our last show, and things have been so crazy that I never did a write up about it:-/ Now, let's see if I can remember back that far!   Re: LDD Model of GG-1 Electric Locomotive - Advice Requested

(...) Bruce Chamberlain postulated that the problem is due to one of the 3-axle trucks being *pushed* through the curve rather than pulled.   Re: FRED- flashing rear end device
