Re: BBB Inspire Swiss Ae 3/6" Electric Locomotive Model

(...) A "good enough" mockup should not be too hard... ... start with Ben's!!! but the bending in the rear of the ribs will take some care to model accurately. personally I'd vote for seeing if Ben can release his CAD files (assuming he designed (...)   Re: BBB Inspire Swiss Ae 3/6" Electric Locomotive Model

(...) Yes that what causing it, now I look at the original image I can see that the wheels go lower than rail level.   Re: Steam Drivers by Big Ben Bricks!!!

Possibly Ben should get some franchises! My suggestion would be someone for Europe, based in Germany probably and someone in Australia (possibly somone in Japan as well). This (with Ben selling to US) would cover most of the train building areas (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Actually the Dutch 1000 class was like (1A) Bo (A1) , one of the reasons it never really became a succes (they were rail wreckers) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: BBB Inspire Swiss Ae 3/6" Electric Locomotive Model

(...) This may be a bit of optical illusion, for the placement of the oversize diameter place-holder wheels penetrate the 9v rail. Maybe that gives the appearance that the wheels stick out left/right farther than do the 12v wheels? See this (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: BBB Inspire Swiss Ae 3/6" Electric Locomotive Model

(...) I tried posting on this subject over the weekend, but of course Lugnet was in a 'funk'... I was eyeballing a set of three of the BBB wheels as they went around "those pesky tight Lego curves".   Re: Steam Drivers by Big Ben Bricks!!!

Re: Steam Drivers by Big Ben Bricks!!!

(...) Personally, I'd want to buy them in sixes. I'd guess that so would most builders of British, if not many European, locomotives. Adding in that some will want a pair of those to be blind, and some won't, I think pairs is the only way of keeping (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
