I hope so. That minifig is just about on scale with the model. The real
machine must be quite an impressive sight.

Neither do I! I guess I need to stop using the old style 24t gears (the ones
with two extra axle holes off center).

They come out of the model side-by-side to create a large "ribbon"
umbilical. Then shortly after this ribbon "exit", they are bunched together
to form the round umbilical you see in the pictures. The ribbon part allows
for good flexibility, but it does exit the back of the model horizontally
and low to the ground (I did this to minimize the umbilical's effect on
appearance). The round bunched-together part is fairly stiff, and that's the
problem.
