One if mine broke. I called Lego and they happily replaced it, free shipping. I was surprised that the rep knew exactly what I was talking about--she went ahead and sent me two new ones, instead of just the one that broke. I realize now that it is a (...) Not sure if you've seen them already but there are the dark grey ones as included in 8480 Space Shuttle and others, although they're 16-tooth gears, and not 8-tooth gears. Cheers ...
