  part help

Hello all- I need some help with a part I'm trying to get. It has three holes in the middle, and has curves on both ends, pointing down, and the piece is squat. I'm looking for this piece for a truck I plan to build. If any of you know what I am (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New Lego 8653 Enzo Ferrari detailed Pics inside!

Paul- You and I think alike! When I get this model, I also plan to modify the suspension, as well as put in a 6-speed tranny. (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Fuel Tanker Complete

(...) Ok. So I lied! haven't been able to get those photos on Lugnet itself so here's the links to brickshelf for the oilfield unit. (URL) Glen (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Fuel Tanker Complete

(...) Sorry Seth. Haven't been able to get the details of inside the cab done. So here is the link for Brickshelf so you can see the cab as it stands right now. (URL) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Enzo

Good question. I could upgrade the suspension on that for about 6 or 7 bucks. If they did include the suspension, they would not have problems selling it. The German dealers have run into quite a problem too. The shipping is killing their overseas (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

I looks like the new set has everything it needs for a good suspension, but has no shocks. Why would TLC design it that way? Those suspension pieces hold more weight than the suspension on the Silver Champion or the Super Street Sensation. So why (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Thanks

(...) If you mean the link in the main Technic page, the only one that controls it is Thomas Avery (who just had a new baby boy! - congratulations!) the curator of the Technic newsgroup. I you want to contact him his email is in the bottom of the (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Thanks

I don't know who added the link to my excavator, but thank you for doing it. I never could figure out how it is done. Just a question for anyone- How do I contact the system administrator? Is there a link on any of the lugnet pages? Nathan (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Crane Steering

(...) I have had a demonstration of the 6 wheel steering on a Demag AC50-1, and while I did not see the workings in detail, it would appear that each axle could be controlled independently, switching between modes electronically. To my mind this (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Crane Steering

(...) Jan-tore, my mention of computers was in direct response to the mention of the self-propelled transporters. I also would not be surprised if many modern multi-axle mobile cranes use a similar system, but I have no information on that. ROSCO (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 94" Arch suspension bridge

(...) yeah, the friction pegs i used to hold the arch segments together are now frictionless. they got squished just slightly. next time i set it up i'm going to use axles instead. it is an amazingly strong bridge. i had my doubts that it would hold (...)   Re: 94" Arch suspension bridge

(...) <snip> Sorry, I just re-read your description and caught your "performace report". I was engrossed by the photos first thing, and just had to look at them in detail! Very nice. Yes, the arch itself (minus deck) will just bend and spread out. (...) (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 94" Arch suspension bridge

(...) <snip> Very cool, Bob! I like it in black! How did the design perform for you? I found it to be very stable and plenty strong in use (i.e. when passing trains through it). Nice job. -TJ p.s. Sorry for the late response. I've been a little busy (...) (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

You are forgetting one thing: The system for the suspension are a locked system, where the amount of oil are the same and dont increase or decrease if you change the the height on uneven ground: (URL) airsuspensions, the only thing that controls the (...)   Re: Crane Steering

(...) If you think about it a normal bog standard trailer has 4 wheels one at each corner, like a table has legs. This is a very stable configuration. If you built a six line modular trailer from lego (12 stub axles, 24 tyres, 12 cylinders) you (...) (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)
